Haters have been slamming Kylie’s ‘self-made’ billionaire title but her momager, Kris Jenner insists that is, indeed, what she is! As fans of KUWK remember, back in March, Forbes magazine dubbed the 21-year-old makeup mogul as the ‘youngest self-made billionaire ever.’
However, many laughed off the headline, arguing that the youngest of the Kar-Jenners was born in a wealthy family so she had a good start in life.
While on CBS Sunday Morning, Kris argued that ‘I think she’s self-made. My girls, you can say, certain things have been just handed to them. But it still takes a lot of work to do what they are doing. The money she has made is her own. It started with her own savings. She put her blood, sweat and tears into it. It was all her idea. It was amazing what she did, and she showed the rest of us how to do it.’
This is not the first time the matriarch is defending her daughter from the trolls who think she doesn’t deserve her self-made billionaire title.
Just last month, she told Refinery29 that ‘I feel like she’s 100% self-made in the truest sense of the word. She has been independent her whole life—from the time that she was a little girl all the way up to her teen years. When she became old enough to make a big decision, she took the money that she had earned working since she was 8, 9 years old, and put that into her business.’
Kris insisted that Kylie received absolutely no financial aid from the family.
She apparently just saved up her money and managed to start a very successful business.
